From the bustling prosperity of Beijing to the serene tranquility of Gu'an, they ultimately found their ideal life anchor point in Langfang's Gu'an. They aspire to build a home that is "breathable, memorable, and capable of growth," rather than merely a temporary haven for escaping the world. FotileStyle, in collaboration with WJID Design, has reimagined an ideal residence that strikes a harmonious balance between "engagement with the world" and "detachment from the world" under a philosophy integrating coexistence with the local environment, a light - touch approach to nature, and a full - life - cycle perspective.

Design Concept

01

Architectural design: Integration of local characteristics and the concept of light nature

The lead designers of WJID, Huang Quan and Liu Heng, broke away from the original architectural framework and deconstructed the house structure into modules, forming three major functional modules arranged around the inner courtyard: the main living area, the hub courtyard, and the auxiliary functional area. This contemporary "courtyard house" layout, in a semi-open form, adapts to the northern climate, providing shelter from the wind and tranquility while introducing natural light and scenery, achieving "in-place symbiosis" between architecture, regional climate, and lifestyle.

02

Interior design: Coming from nature and returning to nature

FotileStyle provides a high-end, customized solution for smart whole-house design, tailoring its various product lines to suit the different functional areas of a home. The study and western kitchen areas feature the Muztag Ata Valley language system, while the tea room ingeniously incorporates the Muztag Ata Mountain View design language. This represents a modern interpretation of Eastern aesthetics, setting an elegant tone for the entire family's spiritual retreat. Consequently, the cabinets are no longer perceived as external "home products" but as organic elements that naturally emerge from the spatial fabric, perfectly aligning with the overall design ethos of "harmonizing with nature."

In the shared space on the first floor, the Muztagata-GrainLanguage series serves as a dual embodiment of wisdom and aesthetics. The original wooden patterns and a warm, mellow color scheme impart a cozy atmosphere to the space. The open island is equipped with a double-layer rotating countertop, creating a social and versatile kitchen environment. Equipped with the voice-controlled FIKS OS, it assists in cooking, enhancing efficiency and enjoyment.

A spiritual sanctuary under the oriental ambience

The interweaving of geometric elements of modern industry with metals and leather neutralizes the monotony in materials, imparting an elegant visual appeal and a luxurious tactile sensation. Centered around a simple and elegant light Chinese style, the design is characterized by its distinct and concise forms, and its inherent tranquility infuses the space with warmth and a poetic ambiance, creating a homely atmosphere.
